South Carolina Superintendent of Education Mick Zais has announced a series of community stakeholder meetings regarding the state’s intent to request flexibility from certain requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), commonly called No Child Left Behind. There will be a stakeholder's meeting at Northwestern High School on Thursday, Jan. 5th from 6:00 to 8:30.
