Sullivan Middle School will hold a pancake breakfast on Sat., Jan. 8 from 8:00-10:00 am at Applebees on Dave Lyle Blvd. Plates will cost $6. Profits will go to the school's PTO, and all tips will benefit music programs. Your server could be a Sullivan Middle School administrator,  teacher, or student!

Dutchman Creek Middle School will have a fundraiser at 6:30 pm on Jan. 18 featuring the "Coupon Mama." She will  share money-saving tips that will change your lifestyle and make a difference in your wallet. Tickets will be $10 and must be purchased in advance by calling 985-1700.

Open houses have been set for parents who want their children to attend a school of choice in 2011-12. Click here for Details.

Castle Heights Middle School received $3,000 for its student health programs through a nationwide movement titled "Fuel Up to Play 60," which is focused on fighting childhood obesity.

Eric Rollings, varsity boys' basketball coach at Rock Hill High School has received a $2,500 grant from CooperVision to be used for equipment, shoes, and travel. As an added bonus, anyone on the team who wears corrective lenses will win free contact lenses for a year.
