Dec. 12 Last Day to Transfer Out of Independence

December 12 is the last day to request a transfer out of Independence
Elementary School into either Belleview or Ebenezer. Independence, a title I
school, has not met AYP the past two years and under No Child Left Behind,
students in title I schools may transfer out (with transportation provided
by the district) to a school that is meeting AYP. Parents should contact
the school office for details.
